Titration
A thorough evaluation of your

If you decide to return to NHS care and have decided to return to NHS care, your medication will be provided with a prescription from a private pharmacy that you will need to pay for at the pharmacy (this is not included in the consultation fee). You will be required to attend every six months to check your medication. This includes pulse and blood pressure readings. Annual reviews are also required.
Follow-up appointments
Once the evaluation has been completed, you'll be able to schedule appointment with the psychiatrist as necessary. Usually the appointment will take place through a video call using zoom, although in certain cases it may be possible to do an audio-only consultation (again at an additional cost).
At this point we will discuss any treatment options and agree upon a bespoke individualised
ADHD medication titration plan. This will include a review and discussion of your medication dosage and any side effects that you might be experiencing. The

The psychiatrist will ask you questions about your family history as well as the effects of your ADHD symptoms on your life and any mental health issues you may be experiencing. If you aren't sure what you would prefer We suggest you speak with your GP prior to booking your private examination as some providers have different rules regarding whether they require the submission of a GP referral letter or not. We also recommend that you check whether your GP accepts a "Shared-Care Agreement which means that after you have been discharged from the clinic, you will be referred back to them for the medication prescription.
Medication
For many people who want an official diagnosis of ADHD, medication is a crucial aspect of their journey. Getting an appointment with an NHS psychiatrist can be a hassle and lengthy. NHS waiting lists are notoriously
